According to the Israeli Standards Institute standard 1497 sports facilities:
TI 1497 is a new standard dedicated to outdoor facilities for physical activity in unsupervised sites.
The standard is based on the French standard AFNOR XP 52-904 and respects the European standard.
The standard specifies the general safety requirements and test methods for physical activity facilities in parks.
The standard specifies which facilities are included under its inspections, what is the normal activity space for the facility,
The accessibility of the facilities, protection components for the facilities’ mechanisms, permitted/prohibited clearances from the ground, safety management and maintenance of the facilities.”
